We thought we had to build alone.

Candler Creative is the thing we needed back then, so no one has to choose between the life they want and the work that pays for it.

"You think reaching out is a weakness."

At 27 he did the maths on his own life and couldn't see the route. He niched down to photography because one lane felt survivable. Then an editorial needed a launch, so they threw an event. Then another. The second he brought people in, everything moved.

  • His first creative spark: the circus tent at Glastonbury, aged 10. From there he tried every creative route he could.
  • Spent 3 years with the contemporary company Chrysalis London.
  • Led the sorcerers' army out to protect Kamar-Taj from Wanda in Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"You think finance is the enemy of the creative."

Theatre school in Rome and a master’s in Finance, at the same time. She left a theatre company, landed in London alone, and now runs operations for an e-commerce company by day and self-tapes by night. She met Dan as a client, booking headshots. By the last shot she was pitching him a business plan. Now she’s the finance person on the creatives’ side of the table.

  • Was on Rai 1 and Discovery+ before she ever opened a spreadsheet for a living.
  • Three years of clown, commedia dell'arte, mime and juggling at theatre school in Rome. The juggling still works.
  • Trained in stage combat, boxing, kickboxing and stage fencing. Nobody argues about the budget twice.
